Taper pins are part of Tasman Industries ltd
standard stock line to give our customer's a one stop shop for light
engineers products. Taper pins are available in solid or split condition
for a application's where the pin will be removed in the future we offer
internal or external extractable types. Taper pins can be supplied to the
current market standards or special manufacture for non-standard tapers or
sizes. When measuring length of a taper pin do not include the slightly
convex ends. When measuring the diameter of a taper pin for imperial
measure at the large end for metric measure at the small end.

- Imperial - 1/16" - 1/2"

Standard stock material
- Class A En1A leaded (For most general
engineering applications)
- Class B En3B (A higher grade steel than
En1A used in special applications i.e. welding)
- Class C En16T (Used in applications where
there is a high level of stress and parts may be subject to shock's)
- Class D En57T (Ideal for high tensile
strength with the advantage of corrosion resistance)
